The Coldicutt Blackman Story
Coldicutt Blackman is committed to being the change in the construction industry they've been looking for. A misconception is a carpenter looks at a set of drawings and throws up a building, however that is the tip of the iceberg with the skills and experience needed to complete a quality job which will last a lifetime. We're dedicated to continuously learning and up-skilling so every project we touch will be to the highest standard achievable.
Sam and Jeremy started working together as young apprentices. They both respected each other's commitment to the trade but went their separate ways when Jeremy chose to continue his training in high-end commercial construction, while Sam focused on building high-complexity architectural new residential builds. Later in their careers, Sam and Jeremy decided to combine the best of both worlds from their respective building paths and formed Coldicutt Blackman.
We believe in being a better version of construction than what we have seen in New Zealand over the last 8 years. Our aim is to deliver the highest quality results that the client's budget can afford, leveraging our respective experience and deep care for the work we produce. The directors are on-site all the time, doing most of the work themselves to ensure nothing is missed and everything is of the highest standard.
Coldicutt Blackman works hard to communicate clearly and continuously throughout every build, so each client is well-informed about what is happening during their project. This gives you peace of mind, knowing your build is being handled carefully and thoughtfully, ensuring your biggest investment will last.
Meet Samuel Coldicutt
A seasoned builder born and raised in Kaukapakapa. From a young age, Sam developed a passion for construction. He's known for his attention to detail, delivering projects on time and within budget. With a strong work ethic and a passion for his craft, Sam’s builds are difficult to miss.
Meet Jeremy Blackman
Born and raised in Helensville, Jeremy is a skilled builder with residential and commercial experience, Jeremy has done it all. Specialising in building maintenance and renovations.
Working on a wide range of projects, Jeremy brings a diverse skillset to the team and has developed skills that can solve any construction project.
