What a difference a little love can make.
With their new deck, this client couldn't bare the dated old garage sitting adjacent. One quick phone call and a site visit later, we were rearing to build this old garage up to our high standard.
Coldicutt Blackman gave the client a detailed scope and 5 different options for cladding with their respective pricing. They made their selection, accepted the price and we were on site a month later pulling the old garage apart!
Coldicutt Blackman started by stripping the walls all the way back to framing timber so we could inspect the condition of the framing, make repairs where needed and install a new timber treatment to keep this garage healthy for years to come. The rubbish was removed with our trailer to avoid creating a hassle for the clients on their fairly tight site, the frames were treated and we wrapped it back up with building paper to keep the framing as dry as possible.
Being a sheet material, the shadowclad flew up in the span of a day, trim timbers soon to follow completing the exterior.
The interior was next, Coldicutt Blackman's electrician installed some new powerpoints and we got started lining out the plywood. Prior to starting this job we had no idea how much better the ply would look compared to the old fiber cement sheeting. Heaps of glue and a few pins ensured the fixings didn't distract from the beauty of a ply lined garage!
